2026 SHP After School Program

If so, SHP Tennis is the place to be! Led by FSU Men’s Head Coach Dwayne Hultquist, SHP has been producing champions for over a decade in the Tallahassee Area. National Champions, Sectional Champions, and State High School Champions have all been produced under Hultquist’s tutelage and direction. Over 30 players in the last 10 years have earned collegiate tennis scholarships after participating in our programs. Traditional Program
Developmental Program

This stepping-stone program is designed to prepare your child for the Traditional High Performance After-School Program. It focuses on fundamentals, fun, and sportsmanship. Participants will learn to keep score, play matches, use proper technique, and understand basic strategies. This program is ideal for beginner players with minimal training and no tournament experience.

2:50 – 3:20 (Pre K)

3:30 – 4:30 (K to 8th Grade)

This intermediate program is a competitive, fun, and enjoyable experience where they learn fundamental skills and techniques to help them achieve their tennis goals. Coaches are highly committed to their players’ success and are available to discuss each individual project with them to create the best possible experience.

4:30 – 5:30

This advanced program is geared towards tournament players who are ready to take their game seriously. They will be receiving 2-on-1 training with our top coaches to work on more individualized training plans. Players aspiring to enroll in the Premier Program must be enrolled in the Traditional Program as well, and spots are limited

5:30 – 6:30

Seminole High Performance is a year–round program while targeting committed junior tennis players. SHP will follow the Leon County calendar for the 2024-2025 season. The monthly cost of the programs will not be adjusted or reduced if the players are not attending. Pay for half of year (5 months) in advance (10% Discount).
